The short answer is that official payments for views do not work in Ukraine. The Creator Rewards Program is available only in eight countries, namely the United States, the United Kingdom, Germany, France, Japan, South Korea, Mexico, and Brazil. Ukraine is not included in this list, and this is stated on the platform’s official page. Some agencies claim the opposite in their materials, namely that the program is available to Ukrainians. This does not correspond to the official information, and such claims should not be relied upon.

Why You Should Not Regret This

There is an unexpected twist here that changes the way you should view the question itself. Even where the program works, it does not pay much. Current rates are approximately from forty cents to one dollar per thousand views, and only for videos longer than one minute. The previous version of the program paid even less, approximately from two to four cents per thousand views. According to industry sources, this meant about fifteen dollars for half a million views.

The most illustrative example looks like this. A financial creator with more than two and a half million followers received approximately one thousand six hundred and sixty-four dollars after several months of participating in the program. That means that even for a large creator in a country where the program is available, this is a side income rather than a primary source of revenue. The conclusion is simple. The absence of direct payments is not the main problem for a Ukrainian creator, because the money on this platform lies elsewhere.

Why Bypassing the Restrictions Does Not Work

Attempts to register an account under another country by changing geolocation are a common idea, and it is a bad one for two reasons. The platform checks whether the geolocation matches and may block payments or the profile itself, meaning you risk an account that you have been building for months. In addition, even if it works, you will receive the same few dozen dollars, making the risk pointless.

What Actually Works

Now about the real income channels, and there are five of them. Brand integrations are the main source. Ukrainian prices in 2026 are approximately from three hundred to six hundred hryvnias for every thousand followers, and for channels with more than thirty thousand followers, the cost of one video ranges approximately from eight to thirty-five thousand hryvnias. An important prerequisite here is that the platform restored advertising tools for businesses in Ukraine in April 2025, meaning that brands have the opportunity to work in this market, and demand for integrations exists. Gifts during live streams are available from one thousand followers. Viewers buy virtual gifts, which the creator converts into money, and the platform retains its share. For creators who regularly go live, this can generate significant amounts, and in the cases described, the figures were tens of thousands of hryvnias per month with several live streams per week. Affiliate programs and the platform’s shopping section provide a percentage of sales through your link. Your own products and services are the most profitable option, since you do not share the income with anyone. For expert accounts, the platform works as a showcase, while the income comes from consultations, courses, or services. Creating augmented reality effects is the least-known channel. The platform has a separate rewards program for effect creators, and payments there range approximately from seven hundred to fourteen thousand dollars per effect depending on popularity. This is a narrow technical niche with low competition.

How to Calculate the Price of an Integration

The benchmark of three hundred to six hundred hryvnias per thousand followers is convenient for starting, but it is rough.

A calculation based on reach works more precisely, since advertisers are interested in the number of views, not followers. Look at the average number of views on your latest videos and compare it with the number of followers. An account with twenty thousand followers and an average reach of one hundred thousand views costs more than an account with one hundred thousand followers and a reach of ten thousand, because on this platform reach depends not only on followers but also on how the algorithm distributes a particular video. That is why the difference between the number of followers and actual reach can be significantly greater here than on other social networks.

How to Formalize Cooperation

The practice of the Ukrainian market involves a contract or an invoice from an individual entrepreneur, and brands work this way. Typical integration terms look like this. Subject, meaning the creation and publication of one video. Cost. Publication deadline, usually about a week. The period during which the video must remain on the account. A penalty for removing it early. Payment procedure, usually with a partial advance. It is worth specifying the number of revisions and the brand’s right to use the material in its own advertising, since these are exactly the points that later become the subject of disputes.

How Long It Takes

The platform has the most dynamic algorithm among the major social networks, meaning that a new account can get one million views from a single video. But this works both ways, because stability is lower here, and the reach of one successful video does not mean the same reach for the next one. Realistically, the first commercial offers appear when an account consistently maintains a certain level of reach, not when it goes viral once. The threshold of one thousand followers for live streams is reached faster than the thresholds on other platforms, and this is the channel that should be considered first.

Taxes

The mechanism is the same as for any income from advertising activities. Systematic income requires registration of entrepreneurial activity, and the third group of the simplified taxation system with a rate of five percent plus the military levy is usually chosen. Income is declared in the full amount received from the advertiser, not the amount remaining after commissions. I wrote more about this in the materials about freelancing and earning on Instagram.

What Should Be Done

Focus not on the number of followers, but on the average reach of videos. Enable live streams immediately after reaching the threshold, since this is the most accessible channel. Prepare a media kit with real reach figures for approaching brands. Contact companies directly rather than waiting for offers. Record the terms in a contract rather than an agreement in correspondence. Consider creating effects if you have technical skills. Register entrepreneurial activity before receiving regular payments.

Summary

Official payments for views do not work in Ukraine, and the rewards program is available only in eight countries. This is not something to regret, since even there it pays approximately from forty cents to one dollar per thousand views, while a creator with two and a half million followers received about one and a half thousand dollars over several months. Real income on this platform comes from brand integrations, gifts during live streams, and your own products, while the price of an integration is calculated based on video reach rather than the number of followers, since this is where the difference between these indicators is the greatest among all social networks.
